Both Ulstein Design and Ulstein Engineering, along with their subsidiaries, will be incorporated into Ulstein Design & Solutions AS. This will also include Ulstein Es-Cad and Ulstein Sea of Solutions. Because the Ulstein Group does not own these companies in full, they will remain separate legal entities. The design resources will be more clearly divided between customized and standardized design.
Furthermore, the new company will aim towards a clearer division between outright design activities on the one hand and the delivery of engineering, package sales and project execution on the other.

A separate department for “Solutions” will be established in the new company, which will help to secure more efficient project execution, delivering and executing package sales to external shipyards, for all market areas.

Centres of expertise will be established for  various disciplines.

We envision many exciting tasks for our employees in the new company, and resources will be allocated for the good of both the company and its employees.
