SHIP DESIGN PACKAGES
Ulstein Group offers ship design packages to the international market with an emphasis on offshore support vessels, heavy offshore vessels and shortsea vessels. Vessels designed by Ulstein are built at shipyards worldwide.

Ulstein Group is an experienced supplier and coordinator of project execution for specialized vessels. Services provided include concept design, basic design, detail engineering,system integration, project management and site supervision. Ulstein Group has engineering activities in Norway, Poland, the Netherlands, China and Croatia.

X-BOW®
The X-BOW® hull line design offers significantly higher transit speed in adverse weather conditions, as well as enhanced fuel economics. The bow shape ensures soft entry into waves, thus reducing speed loss, pitch and heave accelerations, as well as eliminating slamming and vibration problems associated with conventional bow flare.

Strategic consultancy service for fleet renewal and vessel investment
Ulstein Group has developed a structured systematic business development methodology to guide decision-making process. Performed in collaboration with the customer and relevant experts, the Ulstein Accelerated Business Development (ULSTEIN ABD) process takes approximately one to two months from start to finish. The facilitator guides participants, following a pre-set structure that is flexible enough for individual adaptations.
